Marco van Basten has shared his opinon on AC Milan's plans to sell their young striker, Alexandre Pato.

“Pato is young, strong and he’s someone who scores goals - it would be a mistake to sell him. Only some serious financial problems at the club could justify his sale, otherwise letting him go wouldn’t be an acceptable decision,” ex Milan superstar told to Corriere dello Sport.

Van Basten also commented Silvio Berlusconi's recent words that the latter could not tell much about Marco's coaching abilitites: "Berlusconi doesn't recall me as a coach? Then he should call me and I'll explain him everything..."
