Italian giants, AC Milan, are working on bringing back Van Basten to their club according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Rossoneri are said to quit cooperation with the current coach Leonardo following Silvio Berlusconi's recent comment and summary of the season.

Van Basten has joined a list of the supposed followers of the present manager which already includes Mauro Tassotti, Filippo Galli, Massimiliano Allegri and Frank Rijkaard.

Marco van Basten was linked with Milan last year, after quitting Ajax Amsterdam but the club decided to sign a contract with another ex-Rossoneri star, Leonardo.
